The VPN Programs below are industry standard VPN’s, however for the majority of your daily use and business solutions, I prefer your Operating system VPN and a properly configured VPN server at your office.
1. Operating System VPN:
Your Operating system has a build in VPN. This includes your iPhone, Android & Windows Phone as well as a Macintosh, Windows OS and Linux operating system.
2. AnyConnect:
Cisco program used to connect through Cisco devices. As of 2024 I don’t support many Cisco devices due to their security issues.
3. OpenVPN:
OpenVPN is a hybrid solution. Generally you will use OpenVPN with SaaS, Microsoft Azure, AWS and other cloud based platforms.
4. WireGuard:
I am currently looking into this program and will supply additional details once I feel comfortable with my research. – 2025
